This is an advertisement for an item from KFC. I believe this advertisement works very well. There is a large and very detailed picture of the product. It is presented in a way that makes it look like it is being served to the viewer, making it seem appetizing. Important things like the product name and price are made large, and the red makes it pop out to the viewer more.
This is an advertisement for beach-themed decorations. I believe this advertisement does not work very well. It wasn't obvious what was being sold. I wasn't sure until I read the smaller print near the bottom of the advertisement. The text is also plain and doesn't stand out much. The images used don't stand out to me either. It isn't very colorful, so it doesn't really pop out.
